IT Recycle

Grand your IT equipment a second life

What do you do with unused or defective IT equipment as a company or organization? Let it gather dust in a closet or warehouse? Wait until it's completely worthless? Dump it in the dumpster? Or do you opt for an alternative that's ten times more environmentally friendly? Then JATO is the place to be: we take care of all your unused IT equipment: computers, monitors, servers, hubs, and more.

1. Efficient

We'll work with you to determine which computers you have.
JATO will take care of all your unused IT equipment upon request: we're happy to dispose of anything you want to get rid of. Quick and easy. We can even handle broken or damaged equipment. You won't be left with anything.
Notify JATO, and before you know it, you'll have one less thing to worry about.

2. Safe

We delete all your data
The last thing you want is for not only your old IT equipment to leave, but also sensitive company information. JATO expertly deletes all, absolutely all, data. We go much further than simply formatting or installing new operating software. Once your discarded equipment has passed through JATO, you can rest assured that all stored data has been permanently destroyed. This way, you can be sure your trade secrets will never fall into the wrong hands. And your IT experts can focus on the future of your company, instead of erasing the past.

JATO also offers the most reliable solution for defective equipment. Because even if you attack a hard drive with a hammer and chisel, the stored data often remains readable. Our own staff handles the transport and processing, so we can control the process from start to finish.

3. Correct

We ensure the reuse of your equipment
You could, of course, have your old IT equipment recycled by a waste management company. But we firmly believe that reuse is a much better solution. This way, you encourage the sustainable reuse of electronic waste, undoubtedly the most environmentally responsible solution currently available (pending the invention of the biodegradable PC that can be composted).

We closely monitor Belgian and European legislation regarding the processing of electronic waste. We continuously adapt our working methods and procedures to the rapidly changing regulations. This way, you can be sure that your electronic waste is processed in accordance with the latest regulations.

4. Environment friendly

We recycle unusable materials.
If your IT equipment, after a thorough inspection, proves unsuitable for reuse, we will professionally transport it to certified electronic waste management partners. They will disassemble it and recycle the reusable components, such as various metals and plastics.

You'll also create employment: upgrading and reusing computers is quite labor-intensive and creates new jobs, including in the social economy.

This way, you present yourself to the outside world as a sustainable and responsible entrepreneur, something you can rightly be proud of.

Recycling is good. Reusing is better.

When IT equipment is retired, many organizations automatically choose recycling. It sounds sustainable, but it's rarely the best choice. Recycling breaks down equipment into raw materials, even though it's often still perfectly usable.

This means valuable materials, functionality, and CO₂ investments are lost. What's truly circular? Extending lifespan. A laptop that still works doesn't need to be replaced. And even older or slightly damaged equipment functions perfectly again after a refurbishment.
